Australia vs Pakistan First Test, Australia’s Squad for the First Test against Pakistan

Cricket Australia (CA) revealed a 14-player squad for the first Test against Pakistan on December 14th in Perth.

Australia vs Pakistan First Test, Australia’s squad includes newcomer Lance Morris, along with experienced players Steve Smith and David Warner. Pat Cummins, the captain who led the team to victory in the World Cup 2023 and the World Test Championship 2023, will lead the Australian team.

The squad for the first test includes David Warner, who had earlier retired from Test cricket, and Usman Khawaja. Other players on the team are Scott Boland, Alex Carey, Cameron Greene, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Marnus Labuschagne, Nathan Lyon, and Mitchell Marsh.

George Bailey, the Australian chief selector, mentioned that there’s still a chance for additional players to prove themselves for the upcoming Tests against Pakistan and the two-match series against the West Indies. He expressed anticipation for strong performances, especially in the Prime Minister’s XI fixture against Pakistan.

Australia vs Pakistan First Test, Pakistan, without a victory in Australia for almost thirty years, has announced an 18-member squad led by the newly appointed captain, Shan Masood, for the upcoming three-test series.

The first test in Perth is scheduled from December 14th to 18th, starting at 7:20 a.m. Pakistan time. Before that, Pakistan will play a four-day warm-up match against the Prime Minister’s XI in Canberra on December 6th.
