MG Pakistan expands its electric vehicle (EV) portfolio with the official introduction of the MG4 at an event hosted in Karachi.
MG Officially Unveils MG4: This new addition, which originated as the MG Mulan in China in June of this year, comes in two variants: the ‘Excite’ base model and the top-tier ‘Essence’.
Accelerating from 0-100 km/h in a mere 7.2 seconds, the MG4 boasts a robust motor delivering up to 200 hp and a maximum torque of 250 NM. Notably, it features a rear-wheel-drive system, a 10.25-inch digital touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, vehicle-to-load capabilities, and the comprehensive MG Pilot active safety suite.
MG Officially Unveils MG4: In the realm of charging, MG claims an impressive 35-minute duration to charge from 10% to 80% with a fast charger. The MG4 variants differ in battery capacity and pricing.
The MG4 Excite, equipped with a 51 kWh battery, showcases an impressive 350 km range and is priced at PKR 10,999,000 (excluding freight and withholding tax). On the other hand, the MG4 Essence, priced at PKR 12,990,000 (excluding freight and withholding tax), houses a 64 kWh battery, extending its range to an outstanding 450 km, making it suitable for inter-city travel, especially on motorways.
The MG4 is now accessible at all MG dealerships throughout Pakistan.
