Regal Motors Launches Locally Assembled Seres 3 Electric Car in Pakistan

Regal Automobiles has officially launched its first electric vehicle (EV), the Seres 3, in Pakistan. This marks a significant development in the country’s automotive industry.

The locally assembled Seres 3 Electric Car is priced at Rs. 9,199,000, a substantial decrease compared to the Completely Built-up version, which was selling for over Rs. 1 crore. Customers can reserve Seres 3 by paying Rs. 3,000,000 in advance, and the expected delivery date is March 24, 2024.

It’s important to note that the announced price is the highest suggested retail price (ex-factory per unit), inclusive of taxes and dealer commissions. However, factors such as changes in the value of the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar, government levies, tariff structure, fiscal policies, and import policies may affect prices. Any adjustments will be the responsibility of the customer, and the price is subject to change without prior notice.

The Seres 3 Electric Car is powered by a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor with 160 hp and 300 Nm of torque. It features a 49 KWh battery with a claimed range of around 400 KM, adjusted to approximately 320–330 KM for local conditions. The EV can be charged up to 80% in 7-8 hours using a regular home charger, and with fast charging, the time can be reduced to just 2-3 hours.
